Na rozdíl od "běžných" dobrodruhů je však Tvé počínání doprovázeno nezměrnou vůlí dosáhnout maxima, což je u Tebe korunováno jeho skutečným dosažením. To se týká nejen Tvé počítačové profese, ale i snahou o poznání a porozumění světu (Tvé reportáže a postřehy z exotických cest okořeněné skvělými fotografiemi byly vždy nejen pro mne jedinečnou inspirací a zdrojem poučení). Tvůj poslední "úlet" do umělecké fotografie Ti poskytuje jedinečnou možnost k vyjádření nejniternějších pocitů, představ a vizí. Vytváříš trvalé hodnoty, obohacující tento svět. Ahoj Jani, Nikdy jsem nebyla ani v Africe (miluju tvé fotky z Namibie, jsou jak říkáme anglicky "out of this world") ani v Emirátech (tam mě to vůbec neláká, přílišné pozlátko a uměle vytvořený svět, kde vládnou peníze) ani na Kubě (tam bych se ráda podívala, ale s americkým pasem zatím nemůžu). Tvoje reportáže jsou velice čtivé, humorné, poučné. Obdivuji Tvůj talent, Tvoji "boldness", smysl pro dobrodružství, odvahu se pustit do čehokoli neznámého. Ať už je to cestování, psaní či fotografování. Cestovní destinace se stávají omezenými, neboť svět se změnil ve velký Disney Land a kultura se tomu globálně přizpůsobuje. Smutné. Měla jsi štěstí, že jsi svět procestovala před globalizací.A tak doufejme, že ještě existují oblasti nedotčené a že budeš schopná v nich najít další inspiraci a podělit se o ni. Už se moc těším!

Nikdy jsem neměla touhu navštívit Afriku. Není to můj "cup of tea". Až do doby, kdy jsem začala sledovat cesty mé kamarádkyJany (známe se neuvěřitelných 54 let....). Její putování po Jižní Africe, Namibii a Botswaně, příběhy a fotky krajin a zvířat jsou prostě fantastické a nesmírně obohacující a já pomalu přehodnocuji svůj názor.

Už řadu let si říkám, kdykoliv čtu nějaký ten záznam z dobrodružných výprav cestovatelky a fotografky tělem i duší Jany Vaňourkové, jaká je škoda, že její tvorba nevychází knižně. Poutavé texty doplněné krásnými fotkami v kvalitní grafické úpravě - to by bylo něco.

 Jani, děkuji za všechna zábavná povídání a přenádherné, zajímavé, umělecké fotky. Každý tvůj nový příspěvek mi pokaždé zpříjemní den, vykouzlí mně úsměv na tváři a dostane mě do jiných dimenzí. Máš velký dar popsat (mimo jiné) realitu Afriky a k tomu jako bonus vždy přihodíš ženský jemnokritický nadhled, většinou okořeněný úhlem pohledu tebe jako "ženy tvého muže" (vtipné a milé!!! 😊). I was first struck by your bio, and was immediately impacted by your release of "justice" from within your search. Justice can be described within the laws of physics. Your desertscape and dunes shots are the best I've ever seen of desert motifs. The first time I looked through your folders I was struck by the big difference of our lives; you are connected to the deserts where sand, draught and the sun and heat are major elements, and I am living in a country, Norway, were water (both the sea, river, lakes as well as rain and snow), cold weather and long periods of darkness are major elements. 

But looking through your photos gave me a feeling that the difference perhaps is not very big after all. I sense a common sense of
melancholy and a common sense of searching. I thought it would be incredible interesting to get to know you better. I guess that your opinions of things (e.g. the meaning of life) would be based on a nearly
opposite life experience than mine.

 I realize you were born in the Czech Republic, which is quite a coincidence because I just read Milan Kunderas "A Joke" and "Ignorance" during my summer holiday. (I've read many others novels from him earlier.) Still our backgrounds are quite different, though we have the European cultural history in common.

You have a vast range not only of subject matter, but color, mood and composition. 

 I spent about a month in Barcelona and saw all of Gaudi's buildings there. Your photos really get the feeling. Also love Georgia O'Keeffe who you do a fitting homage to. There is a flow and movement within each photo that is often quite subtle

Hi Jana! That's what I noticed first of all: most of your photos are so bright, colorful, shiny and even JUISY, I'd say! Maybe this is how our life should be? OF course, I also liked your melancholic/philosophic one's, but these seemed to be a bit pessimistic... I like such type of work anyway, they make me STOP for a while. And this is very important. It's a good medicine to have a catharsis from time to time.

yes yes yes, a color feast here. i love that, because i believe, many highly rated pics only live of the b/w effect, and in my eyes its a lot harder to do fantastic color photos. also id like to add, that you dont overdo it with the sunset shots, something colorl overs tend to do.

Desertscapes and Impressionism

I did visit your portfolio and was humbled by the experience! You have a breadth of vision and a depth of perception that is - in my opinion - the mark of genius. 

While I enjoyed the images in your "strange" file, I believe that they were mere forays into technical possibilities for you. I can only aspire to create the beautiful and moving images that you are so obviously adept at tossing out into the world. I get the feeling that it is quite easy for you. Forgive me if I am wrong.

Jana, like I promised you I'm here to visit. 

First I have to compliment you on your beautiful and artistic and colorful PF. Like your 'out of the box'-thinking in some of your folders. Its really inspiring at least to me it is. 

Secondly I looked too at your Barcelona-folder. To me it's illustrative for your talent for taking the picture by looking different.

 Last but not least, my sincere compliments and well done. Looking forward of seeing more of your creative arthography.

Mesmerizing....

Jana your portfolio is a wonderland of colors joys and contemplation....altough your composition are often anchored solididly and often have fixed reference points in their perspectives ,they are utterly sensual,in fact the sensual often takes over and carries our emotions...this is evident in the Flowers delicate petals bleeding the freshness of the due... 

From your work I sense that you are a solid and determined person in life possibly because of past experiences ,but yet often you give away this solidity to make the most of the sensual pleasures of life .....But of course I might be wrong :))) Whatever this portfolio is simply mesmerizing....Thanks for your tips you drop every now and then in my photos...                     Regards.Charles, Malta

I discovered one of the most stunning work I have ever seen on photo.net. This is no compliment, it's the truth.

I am going to look at all your pictures in depth, not to judge but to learn and appreciate. The colors are fantastic, the tones and compositions, everything..

Jana, I think I first visited your work about five years ago and your unique vision and artistic talent was obvious then. 

Now your portfolio has grown to a substantial number of images that show your artistic growth and the unique vision, signature style and wonderful colour palette that comes through in every image.

Ahoj Jano, ty fotky jsou uzasne. Vzpominam si, ze jsem si nejake Tve fotky prohlizel po nasem minulem setkani v Brne, ... ale toto me uplne ohromilo. 

Jsi opravdu skvely fotograf a dokazes sve fotky i citlive, vkusne a trefne okomentovat. Vubec se nedivim vsem tem veskrze kladnym reakcim, ktere od ostatnich sklizis. Opravdu jsi velmi dobra. Moc se mi tve umeni libi a divim se, ze mas cas a chut i na jinou praci (IBM).
